Skip The Depot

Nova has established an on-going bottle drive opportunity with Skip the Depot. Stay warm at home while Skip the Depot comes to pick up your bottles and the money will go to supporting Nova! It is a win-win!

There is no code for skip the depot. Once you create an account you select the organization you want to donate to (Nova Artistic Swimming). All proceeds get transferred from Skip the Depot to our club.

Swim-a-thon

Our Swim-a-Thon is a fun club event where all age groups come together to swim as many laps of the pool as they can in 2 hours (1 hours for AquaGO & Little AquaGO). It is in the shallow end and athletes can use kickboards. There will be music, prizes, rest breaks, and lots of snacks! The Swim-a-thon is an integral part of the club's training program and all competitive & TR swimmers are expected to participate.

Our 2023 Swim-a-thon is planned for Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00am - 12:30pm at the U of A West Pool. 

Casino

Nova participates in a casino every two years. Nova Synchro is dependent on this casino financially, and casino revenues help keep the annual fee accessible to families. Each swimmer registered in the previous and current year must supply a worker 18 years or older to volunteer at this fundraiser. Every competitive and Teen Rec family provides a $500 undated casino cheque at the beginning of the year that will be shredded at the end of the season once the casino commitments are completed.
